Pyrex Cookware
Have you ever had your Pyrex cookware explode?
I had a birthday party for my grandmother yesterday, and was heating three pans (all Pyrex) of enchiladas in the oven yesterday when one shattered.
The enchiladas had been in the oven quite a while before I turned it on to warm them, so the Pyrex should have been room temperature.
I am sad to have lost the dish, and 1/3 of my enchiladas, but I made more, and the party went on.
Has this ever happened to you? When I looked it up online, it shows that the Pyrex company changed hands at some point, and now Pyrex is made in a different (and shatter-prone) material.
Yes its happened to me also .
when it was in the over like it happened to you and also once as I was taking it out of the oven when the cake was done.
I don’t use my Pyrex for baking anymore.
